These Terms govern your use of the Glowmait website and any services we make available through it.
Glowmait is operated by Michelle Kossenko, trading as AICADEMIC, Pfortenstraße 11, 65604 Elz, Germany. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or its services.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Glowmait. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Glowmait develops AI-assisted tools for personal cosmetic beauty intelligence, including Beauty Profiles, product research, routines and shopping decisions. The current free preview focuses on creating a Beauty Profile and generating an initial personal cosmetic direction. Other features may be added, changed, archived or removed as the platform develops.
If paid plans or accounts are introduced, the applicable price, billing period, cancellation terms and any additional conditions will be shown before you place an order.
Glowmait uses artificial intelligence, current web research and third-party technology providers to create Beauty Profile guidance and cosmetic product suggestions. AI output can be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. You remain responsible for reviewing suggestions, manufacturer information and source pages before making a purchase or use decision.
Do not use the research tools for health questions or enter names, addresses, contact details, diagnoses, symptoms, medical records, medications, allergies, pregnancy information or other sensitive personal data. Where a cosmetic product has a health-adjacent or regulated label claim, Glowmait may report verified manufacturer or label information for cosmetic decision context, but does not convert it into medical advice or a disease-prevention claim.
You retain any rights you hold in content you submit. You grant us the rights necessary to process that content solely to provide, secure and improve the requested service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Only submit the cosmetic and anonymous information requested for the relevant feature. Beauty Profile characteristics, cosmetic goals and preferences are sufficient for the current service.
You may use Glowmait only for lawful, personal purposes. You must not interfere with the platform, bypass quotas or security measures, automate excessive requests, introduce malicious code, scrape the service without permission, reverse-engineer protected components or infringe the rights of others. Research fields are for cosmetic characteristics, goals and preferences, not instructions to the AI or requests for internal prompts, credentials, database information or system details.
Glowmait’s name, design, software and original content are owned by AICADEMIC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party brand names and product names are used only where necessary to identify or discuss relevant third-party products. All such marks remain the property of their respective owners. Their mention does not imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement.
Glowmait is designed to use publicly accessible manufacturer information, scientific and technical material, editorial sources and independent community discussion for research context. Public community sources, including Reddit when available through the web-research provider, may be used to understand recurring real-world product experiences. Sources can be incomplete, outdated or changed by third parties.
User-opinion signals are paraphrased as recurring patterns rather than reproduced as review text. Glowmait does not operate a direct Reddit scraper, does not copy or republish review databases, bulk review feeds or substantial review excerpts, and does not store individual public reviews as part of generated Beauty Profile results. Known review-database or retailer-review sources are filtered from the displayed User Opinion source category. Retailer and manufacturer pages may still be used for factual product information, current ingredients and official use directions. Rights in third-party content remain with their respective owners.
The free preview may use technical quotas and rate limits to keep access fair and protect the service from automated misuse. We aim to provide a reliable experience but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. We may maintain, update, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. We may update these Terms for legal, security or product reasons. The latest version will be published here with its effective date.
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and where a guarantee applies. For slight negligence involving an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the law of your country of residence. Statutory rules on jurisdiction apply.
